Compare me to all the others in my price range and you’ll find that I am a pretty good deal. I mean, how many of those other houses can talk about how great they are for the money? I am gifted! Every now and again, I hear the Realtor dude talking about other houses and how much of a deal I am. I can’t believe these silly humans actually are trying to sell me after all I have done for them. Then I hear the price they are willing to sell me for! I am not a happy camper house!

Did I mention that I am built green for increased energy efficiency? I hold the cool air in during the summer and warm air in during the winter. Why should you care? I will save you some serious bucks when those other energy sucking homes can care less about their silly little humans. Buy me and I’ll save you a few bucks to go out and ………….

I Can’t Go Very Far But You Can.

Being a house can be such a bummer! I keep hearing the silly little humans say this and that about where they went and what they did. It seems that they spend a lot of time over in Centerra. I listen to them say how much they enjoyed spending time at the Promenade Shops or the Outlets, having a bite to eat at the Marketplace, taking in a little culture over at Chapunga Sculpture Park & doing everything they can to avoid the Medical Center of the Rockies. How I sometimes wish I was a silly little human so that I can enjoy more than just my yard. I feel restricted, unable to get out and enjoy life, take a walk in Centerra or the Loveland Sports Park. As much as I love myself (a house at 1802 Monarch Cir), I would really love to get out and enjoy all that is around me. I hear from the silly little humans that the mountains are pretty cool too.

Living in High Plains Village at Centerra is pretty fun. I get to see people walking behind me all the time on the walking trails and the open space directly behind me is great if you are into wildlife. Being a two story has it’s advantages as I can occasionally see the mountains from the front (of me). The other cool thing is the High Plains Environmental Center takes great care of the natural areas around the hood. They host bird watching events, tree planting parties and other fun stuff that people seem to enjoy. The lakes in our neighborhood are pretty neat also. The osprey nest is my personal favorite. Being a house is kind of tough sometimes because I want to get out an enjoy the great outdoor just like the silly little humans. Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to watch them as they enjoy the neighborhood.

No seriously! I’m a house. I know it is very uncommon for houses to talk but I do. When you look as good as me, it’s difficult to keep quite. When the silly little humans bought me in 2003, I was brand new, built green and ready to be taken care of. The silly little humans added some color to my walls, nice window coverings and many other things that made me look like I was ready for some beautiful homes magazine. If you are looking for a fantastic house that backs to open space in a great neighborhood, you should check me out. It seems the silly little humans that currently own me need to move. I am not very demanding (as houses go), I just need a little love, an occasional cleaning and to know that you enjoy living within my belly. Oh, and please do not slam any doors, it sometimes wakes me up from my catnaps.

My Master Suite. So Cool!

No one has ever called me average. In fact, I give the silly little humans credit for adding to my beauty. They actually did a great job creating a cozy space within my walls. My master bedroom is far from small and offers two walk in closets, a ceiling fans & decorator window coverings. My master bath comes with a five piece setup but what I am most proud of is my jetted bathtub. The jetted bathtub is my reward to the silly humans for taking such good care of me.

As I mentioned before, my kitchen is simply stunning but all the great stuff the silly humans make in there has to be eaten somewhere. My dining room is another favorite hangout for the silly humans as they eat and enjoy some time together. I am told (well not directly) that I am large enough for ladies bunko night and other extended family gatherings. With wood floors and plenty of sunlight, I am right off the kitchen for ease of use and convenience.

Need an Office? I Got Your Office!

I know the man of the house is well, shall we say a computer geek and loves to spend time in my office. I think it’s funny when I overhear him saying it is his office but hey, that office stays with me, the house. My office is spacious with plenty of room for a large desk, a few chairs and even a couch. My ceiling fan keeps the silly humans cool in the summer time and my french doors a plus when you need a little quiet to get work done.

Can you see it? This very cool sink is atleast in part responsible for the humans keeping me clean. They really like my waterfall fixture & sink combo so I think they spend a little “extra time” in there washing their hands and keeping the dirt off my walls and my other pristine parts.

Every now and again I (the house) listen to the silly humans talk about me and how great I am. The Mrs of the house seems to have this thing for my entryway. Of all the cool things that I offer, she has this thing about the area right when you come in the front door. I have always said that if you got it, show it off but the entry is not one of my favorite parts of …… me. If someone else loves what I consider to be “less sexy”, it’s good by me.
